???Summer Session Speaking Tour: Maui District

Come join us for Maui district’s Summer Session Speaking Tour! This will be on June 26th, 2022 from 10:30 AM to Noon. He will be giving an in-person presentation on Buddhist art and poetry published in the Berkeley Bussei during the 1940s and 1950s. Dr. Mitchell will use this publication as a case study to discuss the often-unacknowledged contributions of American Jōdo Shinshū Buddhists in the spread and popularization of Buddhism in the later twentieth century.
