Come join us for our Boomers to Zoomers Seminar (formerly known as the CAN DO seminar), featuring Dr. Michael Cheang of the University of Hawaii at Manoa! This seminar will take place on May 28th, 2022 from 3 PM – 5 PM. Dr. Cheang will be presenting on soft skills, which are defined as “personal attributes that enable someone to interact effectively and harmoniously with other people.” With this seminar, we hope to not only focus on this specific set of skills, but also how to better prepare those coming out of college for the workforce.. A little bit about Dr. Michael Cheang:

Michael Cheang has over 25 years of university teaching experience. He teaches Family Resource Management and Family Public Policy in the Human Development and Family Studies Program at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. Some of his work has been in partnerships with the county offices on aging and non-profit agencies in the State of Hawai’i to provide training for individuals who care for or work with older adults. His doctorate is in Public Health with a focus in Gerontology.
